That's great! That's great!

Being optimistic can reduce ur suffering, while being passive will increase ur suffering.

There was an old man who always said : "That's great! That's great!" After awhile, it became his "saying". Even though there was a storm that last for a few days, others kept complaining about the wheather, but this old man said : "That's great! That's great! If the storm came down in a day, a lot of places will be attacked by floods. God seperated the rain to a few days, isn't this something to be thankful of?"

There was once, the old man's wife fell sick, his friends thought that he would not say "That's great!" anymore. So they went to visit his wife. Once they reached there, they asked the old man :"Hows ur wife? Is she getting more serious?" Who knows that the old man said :"That's great! That's great!" His friends became very angry and asked him :"How can you say 'that's great' when ur wife is lying on the bed struggling to survive?"

The old man answered them :"All this while, my wife has taken care of me. Now she is sick, isn't this a chance for me to take care of her? Is this not good at all?"

This story is all about positive thinking. Being optimistic can reduce ur suffering, while being passive will increase ur suffering.

There is a saying :“Don't complain that rose bushes have thorns, you must feel fortunate, that the roses grow in the thorns." Others always complain that roses have a lot of thorns, but there are only a few that understand that the thorns have roses, and thank God. Rose and thorns, they represent happiness and unhappiness, u can either choose to complain or to choose to feel fortunate, u can either say :"Ah! This sux." or u can juz say :"Yeah! That's great!", its all up to u.

When I was studyin in US, I meet a friend and never contacted. There was once, we met at a function, I asked him :"Hows life?"
He answered :"Great."
I asked him again :"Hows ur family? Still doing good?"
He answered :"My kids, parents, they are all fine."
"And ur wife?"
"She great!" He answered :"In fact, she's been very good since she passed aways 3 years ago."

She will "always" be great!
